China has lifted the restrictions to encourage foreigners buy property in Beijing. The temporary measures will be effective from Jan 1st to Dec 30th 2009.
The following restrictions are not applicable during the effective period. (1)One year working or studying visa requirement; (2) only one property can be purchased; and (3) the property shall be only for self-use. (Feb 27th 2009)
