Ms. Hao Wang is ranked by Chambers as the best lawyers (tier 1) in private clients and wealth management in Mainland China since 2013. As counsels to high net worth individuals, family offices, trustees and private banks, she advices on estate, succession and tax planning, family law, immigration, and wills and trusts for family business. She also advises trustees, family offices and private banks on compliances issues, taxes and dispute resolution with beneficiaries. She has particular expertise on conflict of laws issues concerning international estate plan. She lectures on family trust course on Wudaokou college of Finance In Qinghua University. In addition, she teaches Family Succession and Wealth Management for Senior Wealth Management Planner Certificate course organized by China Banking Association. She is the first member of Society of Trustees and Estate Practitioners( STEP) in mainland China. She is also the only member of International Academy of Estate and Trust Law ( IAETL) among PRC practitioners.
She is the author for Strategy of Family Wealth Preservation by China CITIC press. She is the author for China Chapter for World Trust Survey by Oxford University Press, author of China Chapter for The Private Wealth and Private Client Review (4th edition) by Law Business Research and author of China Chapter of Global Guide to Trusts by Academy & Finance.
 


 

Furthermore, Ms. Wang has experience in corporate acquisition and overseas public offerings of foreign companies with Chinese domestic interests.

Moreover, Ms. Wang has built a solid practice based on her expertise in banking business, including commercial lending, fund management, foreign exchange management, secured transactions, financial leasing, and etc.
 

Some of the important deals for which Ms. Wang has been a team leader:
1. Represented a world leading consumer finance player to launch consumer finance business in China via a sophisticated trust structure including structure advice, negotiations with trust companies, legal opinions on business model and foreign exchange issues and drafting agreements. This was the first time that a foreign consumer finance provider was able to launch its products in China;
2. Advised the Non-bank Financial Institution Department of China Banking Regulatory Committee on its amendments to the Regulations of PRC Trust Companies and Measures and Rules for Administration of Collective Capital Trust Plans;
3. Advised an EU delegation in China regarding its in-depth research on the Regulations on Foreign Funded Banks issued by China Banking Regulatory Committee and  their implementation, including researching the impact of these regulations on EU banks;
4. Advised European Savings Bank regarding the current legal frameworks of P.R.C. Commercial Banks, Trust Companies, and Asset Management Companies;
5. Represented  Finansa, a leading Thailand Bank, regarding its acquisition of shares in SEEC Securities Company, including legal due diligence investigation, structure advice, negotiations, and  drafting agreements;
6. Represented The Asia Debt Fund in a legal due diligence investigation and the structuring of the acquisition of a non-performing loan portfolio that was released by Shenzhen Commercial Bank;
7.rRepresented ed Reed Elsevier Overseas B. V., a leading international exhibition company, in connection with its RMB 216 million acquisition of a majority (50%) equity stake in China Pharmaceutical Exhibition Corporation, which is one of the subsidiaries of China National Pharmaceutical Corporation ("Sinopharm"), the largest pharmaceutical company in the P.R.C..  Her work included doing due diligence , negotiation, and drafting agreements;
8. Represented  QAF Limited (SGX listed public company), a leading multi-industry food company with core businesses in bakery, primary production, dairy industry, food manufacturing, and trading, distribution and logistics, in its RMB 63.75 million acquisition of a majority (51%) equity stake in Shanxi Hexing Fruit Juice Co., Ltd, one of the largest apple juice production companies in the P.R.C,.  Her work included doing due diligence, , negotiation and  drafting agreements;
9. Advised RHB Bank Singapore Area Office  regarding debt assignment and enforcement issues;
10.Advised KLM Royal Dutch Airline  regarding its Line Maintenance business set up in China;
11. Advised Hugo Boss regarding establishment of a retail branch  in Beijing;
12. Advised Commercial Group Property, a UK based AIM-listed property development company,  regarding real estate acquisition in China;
