Mr. Liu is familiar with China’s macro-policy of investment and the legal environment of related areas including foreign exchange, tax, environmental protection, land, labor, administration of state-owned assets, and import and export of goods and technology.  He also has extensive experience with foreign investment in industry sectors such as telecom, advertising, medical care, travel agency, real estate, education, and hi-technology.

2. Advised a major domestic steel group company regarding  an overseas investment in an Australian iron ore mine.
3. Advised a major domestic mining company regarding  an overseas investment in a Suriname gold mine.
4. Was the General Counsel of a leading domestic bank.
5. Advised a multinational chemical company regarding its acquisition of a chemical plant in China.
6. Advised a multinational catering service provider regarding   its provision of services in connection with the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
7. Advised a multinational supermarket operator  regarding its business issues in China.
8. Advised various foreign investors in connection with their investments in China.
9. Advised various foreign-invested enterprises on regulatory issues pertaining to land acquisition, labor, foreign exchange, and other matters..
